MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT:
I’d like to welcome every back and hope that all had a happy and safe summer. It’s hard to believe that summer has come and gone, in fact it’s hard to believe that summer even came this year. We began another program year with challenges and changes, and opportunities.
One of the biggest changes we have this year is the location
for our CPIM training. While our schedule and review session sequence will
remain the same, we have a new company providing the training facilities. I’m
please to announce that Vollrath Company will be
hosting our training sessions this year, thanks to the efforts of Kate
Blumenstein. They are conveniently located on
Among our challenges is that of recruiting additional board members. We have a need for someone who would be willing to serve as President next year after a year of “getting their feet wet” as Executive Vice President. An opportunity exists to tap our market potential and grow the organization. We hope to reach as many Supply Chain specialists as possible and bring to them the speakers and training that will provide them with the training and ever changing skill set that is required for success in today’s marketplace.
I look forward to serving as your President again, and to a
successful year of interesting and educational PDM’s.
I also look forward to taking advantage of the great networking opportunities
they provide. I hope to see many of you at our first PDM on September 16th
at Richard’s in
