Fall is right
around the corner and we are making final preparations for the beginning of the
2008/2009 PDM year. Be sure to check out
the dates to keep open to attend more information on the Sept PDM will be in
the Sept newsletter.
The next review
course will be starting September 18th if you plan to attend please contact
Bruce as soon as possible. Classes will
be cancelled if there are not enough participants.
The International
conference is due to kick off Sept 14 in
We are looking
for additional BOD members for the 2008/2009-year. Open positions include Vice-president and
Chapter Historian. If you are interested
in joining the board you can attend any BOD meeting held the 1st
Tuesday of each month. Or you may

Congratulations to our 2008 scholarship winners - Scott Cochran & Crystal Bohman. Scholarship applications will be made available after the 1st of year for next years awards. The classes
will be held at The Bemis Company Plant N. Sheboygan Falls. The course fees are $250 for APICS members
and $325 for nonmembers, APICS Membership can be applied for through the APICS
web site:www.apics.org. The course fees
include participant guides/workbooks. Checks for
fees should be made out to Shoreline APICS Chapter, and should be sent to PO Box 1351 Manitowoc, WI 54221-1351prior to
the beginning of class. The class
sizes are limited to 20 students.
Note: Sessions may be cancelled should there not be enough
participants.
Directions to Bemis Plant in Sheboygan Falls
1. Head West on WI-23 - go 2.6 mi.
2. Take the CR-Y exit towards Kohler - go .4 mi.

Instructor Honorariums: We are currently seeking
instructors for the CPIM review courses. The instructors receive $750 as
honorariums for every course and are eligible for 2 certification maintenance
points per hour of instruction as outlined in the maintenance manual. If you are interested, please contact the

The Board of Directors meets on the
first Tuesday of every month at

positions open for the 2008/2009-program year
Vice-President Position consists
of standing in for president when unable to attend BOD meetings or PDMs. Train for taking over president position in
the following year.
Chapter Historian Position
consists of assembling the past history and tracking & charting current
history.
