To our readers:

Fall is right around the corner and we are making final preparations for the beginning of the 2008/2009 PDM year.  Be sure to check out the dates to keep open to attend – more information on the Sept PDM will be in the Sept newsletter.

The next review course will be starting September 18th – if you plan to attend please contact Bruce as soon as possible.  Classes will be cancelled if there are not enough participants.

The International conference is due to kick off Sept 14 in Kansas City Missouri. It promises to be a very innovative convention this year with the learning paths and plant tours included with the registration fee. If you have not already registered you can still do so at a discounted rate.  See the APICS website for details.

We are looking for additional BOD members for the 2008/2009-year.  Open positions include Vice-president and Chapter Historian.  If you are interested in joining the board you can attend any BOD meeting held the 1st Tuesday of each month.  Or you may contact Kristen Penkwitz kpenkwitz@centurytel.net for more information.

Congratulations to our 2008 scholarship winners - Scott Cochran & Crystal Bohman.  Scholarship applications will be made available after the 1st of year for next year’s awards.  Anyone attending classes for the 08/09 school year are eligible.  For more information about the scholarships contact Linda Tryba @ Linda.Tryba@kohler.com.
