Happy
New Year! Welcome to the year 2010, it
promises to be an exciting finish to our program year. Our next PDM is in Manitowoc at Knox’s Silver
Valley, the weather doesn’t occasionally co-operate at this time of year but
the food is always good and the speaker exceptional. Greg Gauthier joins us again with what
promises to be yet another informational evening. See below in the newsletter for more
information.
Looking
ahead to 2010 there are many new opportunities coming up. We will be electing a new BOD in May. Positions open include vice-president, Web
master and Member at Large. If you are
interested in any of these position or in joining the BOD contact Linda Tryba

will find board positions to be a challenging and rewarding experience.

negotiate with others within your organization. Most would agree that internal
negotiations can be more challenging than external negotiations. Yet,
organizations must take a win-win approach to internal negotiations if they are
to increase and prolong their value. Our presenter will look at the nature of
internal negotiations and offer some practical advice for negotiating the best
outcome for you and the organization.

Greg Gauthier is a Partner with Foxwood Associates, a management
consulting firm located in
He’s is a frequent speaker and teacher on leadership,
organizational development, business finance, operations management and
strategic planning. Greg has 30 years of management leadership experience.
During his career he’s held senior leadership roles in publicly traded and
privately held companies along with ten years of private ownership experience.

course fees are $250 for APICS members and $325 for nonmembers, APICS
Membership can be applied for through the APICS web site:www.apics.org. The course fees include participant
guides/workbooks. Checks
for fees should be made out to Shoreline APICS Chapter, and should be sent to PO Box 1351 Manitowoc,
WI 54221-1351prior to the beginning of class. The class sizes are
limited to 20 students.

Instructor Honorariums: We are
currently seeking instructors for the CPIM review courses. The
instructors receive $750 as honorariums for every course and are eligible for 2
certification maintenance points per hour of instruction as outlined in the maintenance
