Our available educational courses from the APICS Shoreline chapter.  To register, or if you have any questions please contact Joseph Duesterbeck at classes@shorelineapics.org

COST PER CLASS:
Payment of all Classes must be submitted by the third week after start of class.

Part I = $800 for APICS Members; $1,050 for Non-APICS Members
Part II = $1,200 for APICS Members; $1,450 for Non-APICS Members

CPIM

CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)The APICS CPIM or Certified in Production and Inventory Management designation is a professional certification offered by APICS. The program was founded in 1973.  Over 66,000 professionals have been certified, with thousands more who have gained in-depth, specialized knowledge of production and inventory control through CPIM.

APICS CPIM designees learn essential terminology, concepts, and strategies related to demand management, procurement and supplier planning, material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, sales and operations planning, master scheduling, performance measurements, supplier relationships, quality control, and continuous improvement.

To earn the APICS CPIM designation, operations management professionals must successfully complete two exams: CPIM Part 1: Basics of Supply Chain Management, CPIM Part 2: Master Planning of Resources, Detailed Scheduling and Planning, Execution and Control of Operations, and Strategic Management of Resources.

The APICS CPIM designation must be maintained every five years through the APICS Certification Maintenance program.

CSCP

The Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation is an educational certification administered by APICS. Newly offered in 2006, the CSCP joins two other APICS designations: APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and APICS CIRM (Certified in Integrated Resource Management).

The CSCP program takes a broad view of the field of Supply Chain Management, extending beyond internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain—from the supplier, to the dealer, through the company, to the end consumer—and provides the knowledge to effectively manage the integration of these activities to maximize a company’s value chain.

The course's content consists of 4 modules:

- Supply Chain Management Fundamentals
- Building Competitive Operations, Planning And Logistics
- Managing Customer And Supplier Relationships
- Using Information Technology To Enable Supply Chain Management
